BOP Radiator Specialists Warranty Policy
Our Commitment
At BOP Radiator Specialists, we are committed to supplying quality radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers, heat exchangers and cooling system components that meet professional industry standards.
We understand that our customers rely on dependable products and reliable service. Our goal is to build long-term relationships by providing quality workmanship, fair pricing, and prompt support whenever a genuine warranty issue arises.
If a problem occurs, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. Every warranty claim will be assessed fairly, professionally and in accordance with this policy.
Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated:
– All other radiators and cooling system products: 12 Months
– Competition, racing, modified or off-road vehicles: 3 Months parts warranty only
Where a vehicle registration number is provided at the time of purchase, the standard warranty may be extended by 6 months (excluding racing, modified and off-road applications).
Warranty Conditions
To maintain warranty coverage, the following installation requirements must be met:
– Cooling system inspected and confirmed to be in good working order.
– Cooling system checked for stray electrical current.
– Cooling system thoroughly flushed before installation.
– New coolant/antifreeze installed using the correct type and concentration recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
– Coolant maintained and replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s service schedule.
– Commercial vehicle orders must include vehicle registration and odometer reading where applicable.
Failure to meet these requirements may affect warranty eligibility and any assistance will be assessed at the discretion of BOP Radiator Specialists.
Warranty Claims
Should you experience a problem:
1. Contact BOP Radiator Specialists as soon as possible.
2. Do not discard or alter the product before it has been inspected.
3. Provide proof of purchase together with vehicle details and a description of the fault.
4. Photos of the installation and the suspected fault are strongly recommended to help speed up the assessment process.
5. The product may need to be returned for inspection and testing before a warranty decision can be made.
Please do not promise your customer a warranty outcome until our technical assessment has been completed.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover failures resulting from:
– Incorrect installation.
– Overheating caused by unrelated cooling system faults.
– Blocked or contaminated cooling systems.
– Failure to flush the cooling system.
– Incorrect, contaminated or mixed coolant.
– Electrolysis or stray current damage.
– Accident, impact or external damage.
– Abuse, neglect or misuse.
– Normal wear and tear.
– Racing, competition or modified vehicle use outside the stated warranty.
– Force majeure or events beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty covers repair, replacement or credit of the defective product at the discretion of BOP Radiator Specialists.
Our warranty does not cover labour costs, towing, vehicle hire, loss of income, loss of profits, or any other consequential or indirect damages unless required under New Zealand law.
